I told her Selena can’t sing, that what she sings are not songs but commercials and they are empty and meaningless (or something rather off hand like that). Razia said, ‘Why does it have to have meaning? I see paintings that are just one color with just a splash of another color and that doesn’t have meaning but you call it art- so why can’t you see that Selena Gomez songs are art?’”
