The video of a group of little kids reenacting “Sabotage” that’s currently going viral reminds me of this gem from Canadian pop cultural history: a shot for shot parody of Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic,” starring a tiny lookalike apparently named Allison Rheaume. MuchMusic played this reenactment video almost as often as it featured the Alanis original back in 1996, thanks to its fulfillment of Canadian content broadcasting quotas and to its being really adorable.
